A ship that carries just 300 or so passengers, she has the ambience of an elegant country house hotel with friendly attentive service to match, whether you're dining in her restaurant or simply relaxing by the pool. The new ship will be able to visit a wider range of destinations in its discovery itineraries, with the benefit of increased speeds. These itineraries will continue to focus on both well-known and off-the-beaten-track places, with a team of Guest Speakers on each cruise to bring each area to life. A wide choice of tailor-made excursions will be available at each port of call and prices will continue to include excursions and all tips. FACILITIES

Minerva II will offer the high levels of service for which Swan Hellenic is renowned, along with superb new ship facilities. 93% of her cabins will have outside views and 73% of these will have a private balcony. There will be a wide range of cabins for solo travellers at prices they can afford. Open seating dining will continue to be offered on Minerva II which has a wider choice of restaurants. In addition, she will offer a choice of venues for classical music recitals, Guest Speakers' talks and other activities enjoyed by Swan's passengers including art classes, Tai chi and local performances of music and dance. Minerva II will also have excellent spa facilities and outdoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi.

SPECIFICATIONS

The 30,277 ton ship, launched just last year, has all the latest cruise ship facilities which Swan's passengers will expect. The ship will be adapted to provide the Swan Hellenic country house style which gives passengers the opportunity to discover and explore the world in elegant, comfortable and spacious surroundings. Previously she operated as Renaissance Cruises' R8.
